Abstract

Idham A.Djufri, S.T.,M.T2 In an electric power system there is often a distribution of the load which is initially evenly distributed, but due to the time absorption of the load, it causes a load imbalance, an imbalance between the three phases resulting in the current flowing in the transformer neutral wire. Because the current flows in the transformer neutral wire, the power loss that occurs in the secondary distribution network will increase. By measuring the distribution transformer, it can be seen that in the distribution transformer an imbalance arises which can increase the power loss in the distribution transformer so that this can have an impact on decreasing transformer capacity. Based on the calculation results for the full load is 229.99 A while for the average loading of the transformer during the day is 19.66 A The potential during the day is 8.5% loading during the daytime is quite high, this is because during the daytime the working hours and activities of the training take place, therefore the power loss during the day is 42.80 kW and the percentage is 0.028%.
