Abstract
ABSTRACT Papuangan Dahrani, 2019 Students’ Pronunciation in Reading Aloud using English Words at English Language Education of Study Program of Khairun University. Thesis, English Language Education Study Program Teacher Training and Education Faculty Khairun University. The first advisor Roswita M. Aboe, S.Pd., MA and second Naniek Jusnita, S.Pd., M.Pd The objective of this research is to know English words Pronunciation made by the students at English Language Education Study Program of Khairun University. The subject is the students of Class A and B that consist 20 students of the fourth semester of English Language Education Study Program, by using random sampling technique. The data were collected by using list of words, recording, and transcript. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The list of words consisted of English words. The result of data analysis showed that students’ pronunciation at the fourth semester of English Language Education Study Program is good. There are only one student (5%) Very good score, six respondents (30%) obtained good score, five respondents (25%) Fairly score, and eight respondents (40%) obtained Very poor score. Keywords: Pronunciation in Reading Aloud, English Words. Qualitative descriptive method.
