Abstract
Febriyanti Yanto, "Implementation of Diversion Efforts for the Crime of Abuse Committed by Children (case study of Ternate City Police)" (under the guidance of Anshar as supervisor I, and Isyana Kurniasari Konoras as supervisor II. This research aims to determine the implementation of diversion efforts for criminal acts of abuse committed by children, as well as the factors that influence the implementation of diversion efforts for criminal acts of abuse committed by children at the Ternate City Police Station. The research method used is empirical legal research. The data collection techniques used are divided into two, namely: Field studies by means of observation, interviews and documentation, and literature studies in the form of statutory regulations, books, legal opinions. The results of this research confirm that 1) The implementation of diversion efforts in cases of criminal acts of abuse committed by children at the Ternate City Police Station were carried out guided by Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System and in line with Government Regulation Number 65 of 2015, diversion in At the police level there are successful diversions and failed diversions. 2) Factors that influence the implementation of diversion efforts for criminal acts of abuse committed by children at the Ternate City Police Station so that diversion is attempted because consensus is not reached between the two parties and does not provide compensation to the victim.
