Mulki Yainahu. NPM. 05181911036. Morfometri dan Corak Warna Cangkang Tiga Populasi Nerita sp di Pantai Berbatu, Pulau Ternate, Kota Ternate Provinsi Maluku Uatara. Dibimbing oleh Ir. Zulhan Arifin Harahap, MA, PhD, dan Abdul Ajiz Siolimbona, S.Pi, M.Si. Nerita exuvia, Nerita costata is one of the gastropod classes of the mollusk phylum, the Neritidea family that lives in the coastal intertidal zone. The purpose of this study was to analyze the morphometry of the Nerita sp shell by analyzing the relationship between the total length and total width of the shell, determining whether or not there are differences in the shell pattern of the Nerita sp that live on three rocky beaches of Ternate Island, determining whether or not there are differences in the ratio of white and black colors of the Nerita sp shell that live on three rocky beaches of Ternate Island. This study was conducted in December 2023. Nerita exuvia, minimum and maximum shell length and width of 22.6-27.6 mm and shell width of 18.1-22.4 mm and 20.9-31.6 mm, width 17-25.8 mm at stations 1 and 3. Station 2 has a minimum and maximum shell length and width of 18.1-20.9 mm, width 12.3-16.9 mm. It can be seen that the shell pattern of Nerita exuvia from both stations 1 and 3 is relatively the same. Both shell samples generally have a combination of black and yellow, it can be seen that the shell pattern of Nerita costata also has a combination of black and yellow, with a shell line pattern that also extends in a circle from the apex to the outside of the shell. Nerita exuvia Station 1 has an average percentage of white shell color of 53% (or the percentage of black shell color is 47%). Nerita costata Station 2, an average percentage of white shell color is 52% (or the percentage of black shell color is 48%). Nerita exuvia found at Station 3, has a percentage of white color of 36% (or the percentage of black shell color is 64%). Keywords. Nerita sp, Morphometry, Shell Color Pattern.
