Della Zalfia Angraini, 2024. Students’ Error in Using Phrase at English Language Education Study Program of Khairun University. Advisor (I) Dr. Agus Supriyadi, M.Pd, (II) Magvirah Octasary, S.Pd, M. Pd. This research is a descriptive qualitative study which aims to identify the most dominant types of errors in using noun phrases made by 30 students in the third semester of class B of the Khairun University English Language Education Study Program. In collecting data, researchers used instruments in the form of tests. The results showed that the total number of student errors was 183 errors. where 47 (25,68%) errors in omission, 55 (30,05%) addition, 57 (31,14%) misformation, and 24 (13.11%) misordering. Based on the research results, it shows that the most dominant student errors are misformation with a total of 57 (31.14%) items caused by carelessness and translation.
