Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Populasi lanjut usia sangat rentan terhadap berbagai macam penyakit, salah satunya gangguan jiwa karena lansia mengalami penurunan fungsi organ tubuh dan daya ingat, maka diperlukan perhatian khusus dalam memberikan pengobatan yang sesuai pada lansia. Kesesuaian pemberian obat yang rasional pada lansia dapat menghindari kondisi yang bisa memperparah pasien. Beers criteria 2019 merupakan sebuah acuan yang digunakan untuk mengetahui tepat atau tidaknya peresepan pada pasien lanjut usia, serta untuk penggunaan obat yang mungkin tidak direkomendasikan pada lansia. Rumah Sakit Jiwa Sofifi atau biasa disebut RSJ Sofifi adalah rumah sakit jiwa yang berada di Sofifi Provinsi Maluku Utara. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pola peresepan obat psikiatri dengan kesesuaian Criteria beers 2019 pada pasien lanjut usia di Unit Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Jiwa Sofifi Maluku Utara. Metode: Metode Penelitian ini dilakukan dari catatan rekam medik pasien dengan cara retrospektif dan dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif dengan diagnosis utama yang memenuhi kriteria selama periode Oktober – Desember 2023 pada pasien pskiatri di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Sofifi Maluku Utara. Lalu dianalisis menggunakan Criteria beers 2019. Hasil: Dari 70 sampel, dengan pasien laki-laki (67,14 %), usia pasien 60-65 tahun (97,14 %). Pola peresepan obat yang paling banyak diberikan di RSJ Sofifi alprazolam 1 mg (25,66%), risperidone 2 mg (20,32%), cepezet 100 mg (17,11%). Kesesuaian obat RSJ Sofifi dengan criteria beers 2019 terdapat 2 obat yang belum sesuai yaitu golangan benzodiazepine alprazolam (36,15%), merlopam 2 mg (5,32%). Simpulan: Hasil penelitian yang didapat, bahwa prevalensi pemberian obat pada pasien psikiatri lanjut usia rawat inap berdasarkan criteria beers 2019 masih belum sesuai. Appropriate rational administration of medication to the elderly can avoid conditions that can worsen the patient. The 2019 Beers criteria are a reference used to determine whether or not prescribing is appropriate for elderly patients, as well as for the use of drugs that may not be recommended for the elderly. Sofifi Mental Hospital or commonly called RSJ Sofifi is a mental hospital North Maluku Province. Objective: To determine the pattern of psychiatric drug prescribing in accordance with the 2019 Beers Criteria in elderly patients at the Inpatient Unit at Sofifi Mental Hospital, North Maluku. Methods: Method This research was conducted from patient medical records in a retrospective manner and analyzed using descriptive methods with main diagnoses that met the criteria during the period October – December 2023 in psychiatric patients at the Sofifi Mental Hospital, North Maluku. Then analyzed using the 2019 Beers Criteria Results: Of the 70 samples, with male patients (67.14%), the patient's age was 60 65 years (97.14%). The most common drug prescription patterns given at RSJ Sofifi were alprazolam 1 mg (25.66%), risperidone 2 mg (20.32%), cepezet 100 mg (17.11%). There are 2 drugs that are not suitable for RSJ Sofifi's drug compliance with the 2019 Beers criteria, namely the benzodiazepine alprazolam (36.15%), merlopam 2 mg (5.32%). Conclusion: The research results showed that the prevalence of medication administration in inpatient elderly psychiatric patients based on the 2019 Beers and National Fornas criteria is still not appropriate.
