Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Hiperglikemia adalah keadaan dimana kenaikan kadar glukosa darah didalam tubuh melampaui kebutuhan tubuh dan menyebabkan resiko awal seseorang diabetes. Diabetes melitus ialah penyakit kronis serius yang disebabkan oleh pankreas tidak memproduksi cukup insulin (hormon yang mengatur gula darah). Tujuan: untuk melihat efek ekstrak daging buah pala (myristica fragrans houtt) terhadap histopatologi pankreas tikus putih (rattus novergicus) diabetes. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu berupa penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian eksprimental. Hasil: Hasil rendemen ekstrak daging buah pala sebesar 10.53%, Hasil kadar gula darah terjadi penurunan dengan nilai kadar gulanya 104 mg/dL. Hasil pengamatan histopatologi pankreas dengan menggunakkan skoring manja reonignk pada dosis. EDBP100 mg/kgBB memiliki tingkat kerusakan yang paling rendah dibandingkan dengan semua kelompok dengan nilai signifikansinya P=0,01 (P≤0,05). Kesimpulan: Dosis ekstrak daging buah pala yang efektif menurunkan kadar gula darah terdapat pada dosis 100 mg/kgBB dan tidak merusak organ pankreas, ekstrak daging buah pala dengan dosis 200 mg/kgBB dan 300 mg/kgBB mampu menurunkan kadar gula darah namun memiliki efek merusak organ pankreas. Diabetes mellitus is a serious chronic disease caused by the pancreas not producing enough insulin (a hormone that regulates blood sugar). Purpose: to see the effect of nutmeg fruit pulp extract (myristica fragrans houtt) on the histopathology of the pancreas of diabetic white rats (rattus novergicus). Method: The type of research conducted was quantitative and qualitative research with an experimental research design. Results: The yield of nutmeg fruit pulp extract was 10.53%, the results of blood sugar levels decreased with a sugar content value of 104 mg / dL. The results of histopathological observations of the pancreas using Manja Reonignk scoring at a dose of EDBP 100 mg/kgBW had the lowest level of damage compared to all groups with a significance value of P=0.01 (P≤0.05). Conclusion: The dose of nutmeg flesh extract that is effective in lowering blood sugar levels is at a dose of 100 mg/kgBB and does not damage the pancreas organ, nutmeg pulp extract at doses of 200 mg/kgBB and 300 mg/kgBB is able to reduce blood sugar levels but has a damaging effect pancreatic organ.
