Abstract

ABSTRAK Lestari Marsaoly. NPM 05182011010. Analisis Hubungan Tutupan Lamun Dengan Kelimpahan Gastropoda di Gugusan Kepulauan Guraici. Dibimbing oleh Ikbal Marus, S.P, M.Si dan Dr. Najamuddin, ST, M.Si Secara ekologi komunitas gastropoda merupakan komponen penting dalam siklus rantai makanan di padang lamun dimana, gastropoda memakan serasah dari daun lamun yang jatuh dan mensirkulasi zat-zat yang tersuspensi di dalam air guna mendapatkan makanan. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini yakni menggunakan metode Line Transect kuadran. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Gugusan Kepulauan Guraici. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 2 Pulau yang terdiri dari Pulau Lelei yaitu stasiun 1 di Desa Kasturi 1, stasiun 2 di Kampung Tenga dan stasiun 3 di Pulau Daramafala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan tutupan lamun dengan kelimpahan gastropoda. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Gugusan Kepulauan Guraici. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 6 jenis lamun, yaitu Sryngodium isoetifolium, Thalassia hemprichii, Cymodocea rotundata, Enhalus acoroide, Chymodocea serrulata dan Halophila ovalis. Kerapatan lamun tertinggi ditunjukkan oleh jenis Cymodocea rotundata. Tutupan tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun 3 dengan nilai tutupan 22.08% dengan kategori Jarang. Jenis gastropoda yang ditemukan terdiri dari 7 jenis, yaitu Conomurex luhuanus, Canariun arytrinum, Trochus maculatus, Cypraea annulus, Lambis-lambis, Cypraea tigris, Rhynoclavis vertagus. Kelimpahan tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 3 dengan total kelimpahan sebesar 11.33 ind/m2. Hubungan antara tutupan lamun dengan kelimpahan gastropoda di stasiun 1 bersifat positif dan tergolong hubungan yang sedang, stasiun 2 menunjukkan hubungan yang negatif tetapi kategori hubungan yang kuat, stasiun 3 hubungan bersifat positif tetapi kategori hubungan yang lemah. Ecologically, the gastropod community is an important component in the food chain cycle in seagrass beds where gastropods eat litter from fallen seagrass leaves and circulate substances suspended in the water to obtain food. Data collection in this research used the Line Transect quadrant method. This research is located in the Guraici Islands Group. This research was conducted on 2 islands consisting of Lelei Island, namely station 1 in Kasturi 1 Village, station 2 in Tenga Village and station 3 on Daramafala Island. This study aims to analyze the relationship between seagrass cover and gastropod abundance. This research is located in the Guraici Islands Group. The research results showed that there were 6 types of seagrass, namely Sryngodium isoetifolium, Thalassia hemprichii, Cymodocea rotundata, Enhalus acoroide, Chymodocea serrulata and Halophila ovalis. The highest seagrass density was shown by the Cymodocea rotundata type. The highest cover was found at station 3 with a cover value of 22.08% in the Rare category. The types of gastropods found consisted of 7 types, namely Conomurex luhuanus, Canariun arytrinum, Trochus maculatus, Cypraea annulus, Lambis-lambis, Cypraea tigris, Rhynoclavis vertagus. The highest abundance was found at station 3 with a total abundance of 11.33 ind/m2. The relationship between seagrass cover and gastropod abundance at station 1 is positive and classified as a moderate relationship, station 2 shows a negative relationship but in the strong relationship category, station 3 shows a positive relationship but in the weak relationship category.
