iv ABSTRAK Nurul Magfira Amir, 2025. “Penerapan Model Problem Solving Berbantuan Kahoot Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Relasi dan Fungsi” (Suatu Penelitian Pada Siswa Kelas VIII-9 SMP Negeri 2 Kota Ternate) Di Bawah Bimbingan Nurma Angkotasan S.Pd., M.Pd dan Winda Syam Tonra, S.Pd.,M.Pd Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Terdapat Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Setelah Diterapkan Model Problem Solving Berbantuan Kahoot pada Materi Relasi dan Fungsi. 2) Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Setelah Diterapkan Model Problem Solving Berbantuan Kahoot pada Materi Relasi dan Fungsi. 3) Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model Problem Solving berbantuan kahoot pada materi relasi dan fungsi . Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one grup pretest posttest, sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII 9 SMP Negeri 2 Kota Ternate. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa 1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model Problem Solving berbantuan kahoot pada materi relasi dan fungsi, dilihat dari hasil uji hipotesis kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar dengan signifikansinya yaitu <001 sehingga membuktikan adanya perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar siswa dari rendah ke sedang/tinggi. 2) Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah diterapkan model Problem Solving berbantuan kahoot pada materi relasi dan fungsi dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,57 dalam kategori sedang. 3) Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model Problem Solving berbantuan kahoot pada materi relasi dan fungsi dengan nilai rata-rata angket posttest sebesar 77,7 dalam kategori tinggi. This research uses a one group pretest posttest design, the sample in this research is students in class VIII-9 of SMP Negeri 2 Ternate City. The results of this research show that 1) There is an increase in students' concept understanding ability and learning motivation after applying the Kahoot assisted Problem Solving model to relationship and function material, seen from the results of the hypothesis test of concept understanding ability and learning motivation with a significance of <001, thus proving that there is a difference in increasing students' concept understanding ability and learning motivation from low to medium/high. 2) Increased students' ability to understand concepts after applying the Kahoot-assisted Problem Solving model to relationship and function material with an N-Gain value of 0.57 in the medium category. 3) Increased student learning motivation after applying the Kahoot-assisted Problem Solving model to relationship and function material with an average posttest questionnaire score of 77.7 in the high category.
