Asniar U.M Nur .2024, An Analysis of Students' Competence In Using Pronouns English Education Study Program at Khairun University. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Khairun University 2024. Advisors: (1) Indry Widyasti Anwar S.Pd, M.A. and (2) Magvirah Octasary S.Pd, M.Pd. The purpose of this study was to determine the competence of students in using pronouns in class VIII-1 at SMP Al-Irsyad in Ternate City during the academic year 2025-2026. The population of this study consisted of the students of class VIII-1 at Al-Irsyad Junior High School. The sample included 42 respondents selected through purposive sampling technique. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection involved 30 multiple-choice questions and essay tests. The researcher found that 1 student fell into the excellent category, while 19 students (45.23%) were classified as good. 6 students (14.28%) were categorized as fair, and 16 students (38.09%) also fell into the fair category. In summary, the average score of the students in using pronouns in English was 54.66, indicating that their ability to use pronouns in class VIII-1 Fair.
