The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the compensation and organisational commitments both partially and simultaneously to the performance of employees at the Ternate City Food security Service. The analytical Model used to test the hypothesis is a multiple linear regression analysis, and the research method used is research explanations with quantitative approaches and samples as much as 65 respondents. With data processing techniques using SPSS 16 for Windows. The results proved that: (1) compensation has a positive and significant influence on the employee's performance, which means that the better the compensation, the better the performance of employees. (2) The organizational commitments have a positive and significant influence on the employee's performance, which means the better the organisational commitment of an employee will be the higher the employee's performance. With simultaneous results both variables have a positive and significant effect on the employee's performance with the corrected R2 (R Square) value of 0.529 or 52.9%.
