Abstract

This research is permitted; analysis of conflict, social and moral in the novel “The Freedom Writer Diary” and must discuss conflict, social and moral related to eradication in the story scene. This research was conducted on literature that analyzes conflict, social and moral that occurs in the literary novel by Erin Gruwell. In analyzing the data, the researcher used the qualitative descriptive method in describing the main data carefully to obtain the results of the researcher's statement, the researcher used one approach, namely the structural genetic approach, this approach is used to find out the situation of the author's social life that colors the story. The data analysis method used is courtesy scale of a leech theory speech. The steps of data analysis are explaining, interpreting and then concluding. The study found that the problem of conflict, social and moral such as the eradication between two gangs, the black and the white who slaughtered each other until it happened in the campus environment, made the teacher Erin Gruwell have to intervene in overcoming the problem.
