Abstract

ABSTRAK Wandy Puja Tamanentang NPM. 05171711023. Pengaruh volume air yang berbeda terhadap kelimpahan Eurytemora pacifica. Program Studi Budidaya Perairan Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Khairun, Ternate. Dibawah bimbingan Dr. Ir Yuliana, S.Pi., M.Si dan Fatma Muhdar, S.Pi., M.Si. Pakan alami merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan usaha budidaya ikan. Sebagian besar pakan alami ikan adalah plankton yaitu fitoplankton dan zooplankton. Kandungan zat gizi pakan alami sangat menentukan pertumbuhan larva yang dipelihara. Plankton sebagai jasad pakan alami merupakan sumber protein, karbohidrat, lemak, vitamin, dan mineral sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi larva yang dipelihara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh volume air yang berbeda terhadap kelimpahan Eurytemora pacifica, dan untuk mengetahui volume air yang optimal terhadap kelimpahan Eurytemora pacifica, Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi informasi bagi masyarakat volume air yang berbeda pada kultur Eurytemora pacifica dan sekaligus menjadi bahan referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan volume air yaitu 1300 ml, 100 ml, 700 ml dan 400 ml perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Variabel utama yang diamati dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengaruh volume air yang berbeda terhadap kelimpahan Eurytemora pacifica. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa volume air yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh terhadap kelimpahan Eurytemora pacifica, dengan kelimpahan perlakuan A adalah 1309,66, perlakuan B : 1311,00, perlakuan C : 1307,67 dan pelakuan D : 1306,00 dari 1000 padat tebar. Natural feed is one of the important factors that influences the success of fish farming businesses. Most of fish's natural food is plankton, namely phytoplankton and zooplankton. The nutritional content of natural feed greatly determines the growth of the larvae that are reared. Plankton as a natural food organism is a source of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals so that it can meet the nutritional needs of the larvae being reared. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of different water volumes on the abundance of Eurytemora pacifica, and to determine the optimal water volume on the abundance of Eurytemora pacifica. This research is expected to provide information for the community on different water volumes in Eurytemora pacifica cultures and at the same time become reference material. for further research. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 water volume treatments, namely 1300 ml, 100 ml, 700 ml and 400 ml treatments repeated 3 times. The main variable observed in this study was the effect of different water volumes on the abundance of Eurytemora pacifica. The research results showed that different water volumes had an influence on the abundance of Eurytemora pacifica, with the abundance of treatment A being 1309.66, treatment B: 1311.00, treatment C: 1307.67 and treatment D: 1306.00 out of 1000 stocking density.
