Abstract

The objectives of this research is to find out the students’ in Writing descriptive text at the sixth semester students of English Language Education Study Program of Khairun University. The researcher applied qualitative research design with descriptive method. It involved 20 respondents of sixth semester. From students writng of descriptive text.the researcher focus on fifth aspect to know the students writing descriptive text that are content, organization, grammar, vocabulary, and mechanics. The data from 20 respondents show that 10 or 50% be able to write complete based on the topics and describe tourism spot correctly. While the other of them about 10 or 50% of the respondent has average result in writing descriptive text. Key words: Descriptive text, content, organization, grammar, vocabulary, and mechanics.
