Abstract
ABSTRAK Adelia Safitri 2024. “Keefektifan Pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) Berbantuan Kahoot Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis dan Minat Belajar Siswa” (Suatu Penelitian Pada Siswa Kelas VII-4 SMP Negeri 5 Kota Ternate Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025) Di Bawah Bimbingan Nurma Angkotasan, S.Pd., M.Pd dan Dr. H. In Hi. Abdullah, S.Pd., M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan minat belajar siswa setelah menggunakan pendekatan realistic mathematic education (RME) berbantuan kahoot. 2) Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa setelah menggunakan pendekatan realistic mathematic education (RME) berbantuan kahoot. 3) Keefektifan pendekatan realistic mathematic education berbantuan kahoot dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest posttest. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII-4 SMP Negeri 5 Kota Ternate Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes dan non tes (angket), dan teknis analisis data yang digunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pendekatan realistic mathematic education (RME) berbantuan kahoot dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan minat belajar peserta didik di kelas VII-4 SMPN 5 Kota Ternate. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep dapat dilihat dari nilai N gain sebesar 0,782 dengan kategori tinggi. Keefektifan pendekatan realistic mathematic education (RME) berbantuan kahoot dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan rata-rata 85,33 dan persentase keefektifan sebesar 85,33% pada kategori efektif. Keefektifan pendekatan realistic mathematic education (RME) berbantuan kahoot dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan rata-rata 86,66 dan persentase keefektifan sebesar 86,66% pada kategori efektif. This study aims to determine 1) There is an increase in concept understanding ability and student interest in learning after using the realistic mathematic education (RME) approach assisted by kahoot. 2) The improvement of students' mathematical concept understanding ability after using the realistic mathematic education (RME) approach assisted by kahoot. 3) The effectiveness of the realistic mathematic education approach assisted by kahoot in improving the ability to understand mathematical concepts and student interest in learning. This study used a quasi-experimental method with this research design using one group pretest posttest. The sample in this study were students of class VII-4 SMP Negeri 5 Kota Ternate in the academic year 2024/2025. Data collection techniques using test and non-test instruments (questionnaire), and data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of this study indicate that the realistic mathematic education (RME) approach assisted by kahoot can improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts and students' interest in learning in class VII-4 SMPN 5 Ternate City. The increase in concept understanding can be seen from the N-gain value of 0.782 with a high category. The effectiveness of the realistic mathematic education (RME) approach assisted by kahoot in improving students' concept understanding ability with an average of 85.33 and a percentage of effectiveness of 85.33% in the effective category. The effectiveness of the realistic mathematic education (RME) approach assisted by kahoot in increasing students' interest in learning with an average of 86.66 and a percentage of effectiveness of 86.66% in the effective category.
