Abstract

This research focuses on the Analysis of Perlocutionary Speech Acts contained in the dialogue of the drama script "Evening in the Park " by Iwan Simatupan. This research aims to describe perlocutionary speech acts, dialogues contained in the drama script " Evening in the Park " by Iwan Simatupang. The problems that will be studied in this research are: (1) what types of perlocutionary speech acts are found in the script for the drama " Evening in the Park " by Iwan Simatupang?, (2) The aims of this research are: (1) to describe what types of perlocutionary speech acts What is contained in the script for the drama " Evening in the Park " by Iwan Simatupang? The approach used in this research includes two approaches, namely a theoretical approach and a methodological approach. The theoretical approach used is a pragmatic approach, while the methodological approach used is qualitative and descriptive. The data source in this research was taken from the Naska drama " Evening in the Park " by Iwan Simatupang. The data in this research is in the form of speech in the Naska drama " Evening in the Park " by Iwan Simatupang which is suspected to contain perlocutionary speech acts. In this research, the types of directive perlocutionary speech acts were found, namely the speech acts of persuading, irritating and relieving. Based on the results of this research, the advice that can be given is that further research needs to be done on the drama script " Evening in the Park " by Iwan Simatupang with more varied problems so that new things can be discovered that can increase knowledge about language.
